Life Group and Worship Pastor
James and Suzy Branham were born and raised in West Virginia. After they married in 2006, they moved to Texas for 11 years. During their time in Texas, they were both on staff at a large non-denominational church. James served as their Student Pastor and was part of their worship ministry while Suzy served as church secretary for seven years. During this time, they adopted five children, Sophia, Ryan, Glenda, Gabriel, and Emory. Feeling God drawing them back to West Virginia, they moved home in 2018. God’s plans are amazing and perfect. We are so glad God brought them home to be a part of our family. James joined our family as our River Students Pastor in January of 2019 and now also serves as our Worship Pastor. James and Suzy like to spend their spare time meeting with new and old friends and building community. As of 2025 James has shifted roles and is now the Lifegroup and Worship Pastor here at King’s River.

Middle School Pastor
Tim was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia. This young Pentecostal boy met a beautiful Catholic girl in 2005 while he spent a summer volunteering in Guatemala. Leticia immigrated to the United States in 2009. They were married soon after, and God blessed them with two beautiful children. Work and family caused them to move back to West Virginia in 2014, and the couple began attending King’s River. Using this mixture of differing languages, cultures, and expressions of faith, God brought new revelation to the VanHoose family while hiding in the corner of the King’s River sanctuary. Their Kingdom journey has brought them to a place of new identity where they simply want to be known as “Jesus followers” and where the greatest title that can be bestowed is the one of “servant.” Tim and Leticia began serving in King’s River Kids’ Church in August 2018. In the midst of COVID, the leading of the Spirit pushed them to develop a ministry targeting preteens and adolescents. With the help of Amber Kimbro, this idea expanded, culminating in the formal creation of King’s River Middle School Ministry (MSM) where Tim, Lety, and Amber currently serve.
