Pastor Chris grew up in western Kentucky and moved to West Virginia in 1999 to be part of King’s River.  In 2000, he became our youth pastor for ten years, after which he served as our Executive Pastor for nine years. In November 2018, he became our Lead Pastor. Pastor Chris is ordained through the Assemblies of God.  It was at King’s River, he met Amber and they were married in 2003 and have thirteen-year-old twins, Kolby and Landon. 

In his spare time, Pastor Chris loves hiking and exploring the outdoors. God has created beauty all around us that so many never experience. His family has enjoyed exploring New River Gorge, Yellowstone, Badlands, Glacier, Shenandoah, Yosemite, Sequoia, and King’s Canyon National Parks. Currently his favorite National Park for hiking is Glacier National Park in Montana.
