At King’s River, serving isn’t what we want from you, it’s what we want for you. We believe God designed every individual to serve just as Jesus modeled for us. Ministry is not just for pastors and staff. Ministry doesn’t just come from a pulpit. Ministry happens everywhere from greeting people at the doors to loving babies in the nursery. When you serve in the area God designed for you, it’s both rewarding to you and beneficial to those you serve. As a matter of fact, we believe that true happiness occurs only when you are fulfilling God’s plan for your life by serving in the area that best fits your God-given gifts and passion.
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others ….” 1Peter 4:10
Every six to eight weeks, we offer a Connection Lunch, after a Sunday service, that is open to anyone who would like to hear more about how they can participate in ministry at King’s River.
This brief luncheon will give general information about several key ministry areas. If after attending, you feel drawn to a particular area, you will have all information in hand as to the next step to take.
Attending our Connection Lunch in no way commits anyone to serving. This is just a step to help you find your serving family in the body.
