What are services like?
At King’s River, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. Children are well cared for in River Kids. We know that making time to worship is vital for healthy growth. Sunday morning services are at 10 am. We also have a service on Wednesday evening at 7pm.
What will happen when I visit the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that people want to check out the church and be “anonymous” for a while – and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
What do I wear to your services?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because King’s River is not about what you look like or what you wear.
Where are you located?
We are located just off of Rt. 817 on the Kanawha/Putnam County line. Take the Saint Albans exit off of I-64, turn right and travel approximately 2 miles. You will see our digital sign on the right side of the road, marking the turnoff for our property on your way toward St. Albans. We have a large, beautiful wooded campus nestled between the mountains.
What about my children and teenagers?
At King’s River, your children are a top priority. We believe that all age groups need to receive ministry on their age level from birth through high school. More detailed information on our ministries for children and youth, is available under the Ministries tab.
How can I meet with others and get connected?
Life Groups are a great way to connect with others in the King’s River family. We encourage you to check out as many groups as you like to find one or more that fits you. You can also check out our current events under the Events tab.
